Support Music in Your School

The MHS Music Department is partially funded through the volunteer efforts of our Wildcat Booster Club, a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization. Students enrolled in co-curricular performance ensembles pay a fee which contributes toward the cost of uniforms, instrument repair, performance trips, and instructional coaches. 

These fees and fundraising efforts are not enough to fully cover the Music Department’s annual budget. To provide the very best in instrumental music education, the Music Department relies on the support of community sponsors and private donations.

Your sponsorship and/or donation will go a long way toward meeting our program’s needs.  In the past, your donations have:

1. •Helped purchase thousands of dollars worth of instruments and equipment
   

2. •Paid for free after-school music lessons for our band students
   

3. •Provided scholarships for private lessons
   

4. •Helped send our band students to leadership camp
   

5. •Provided transportation to performances and competitions
   

6. •Allowed us to hire professional clinicians to work with our band
   

7. •Assisted with coordinating fundraisers and community performance events.
   

Individuals, organizations, and businesses can sponsor the band and/or individual students.  Sponsors are recognized at our winter and spring concerts and on our Music Department website.
