Colorguard
Watch the Color Guard perform their competition show at the WGASC Regional Championships on April 18th, 2008, at San Clemente High School.
The Wildcat Color Guard is a dynamic performing ensemble. The Color Guard integrates costumes, props, flags, rifles, and other equipment to create visually stunning dance and movement.
In the fall semester, the Color Guard provides the visual component of the Marching Wildcat Band, and performs through the Band competition and football season. In the spring, the Guard competes in the Winter Guard Association of Southern California (WGASC) circuit.
This year, the WIldcat Color Guard ended their competitive season ranked 4th out of the 12 guards in Regional A Subdivision Yellow and 7th overall out of the 39 guards competing in all Regional A Divisions.
The Color Guard class meets along with the Marching Band in fall semester, and meets as a separate performance ensemble class in spring.
Students who were not able to audition for Color Guard in May may be able to audition later this summer before school begins. Please check this space for more information as Band Camp approaches in August.
