Our award-winning music program consists of five performing ensembles:  The Wildcat Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, Drum Line, and Color Guard.  The mission of the MHS music department is to provide excellent musical education to all students while also providing them with performance opportunities and resources to continue their musical careers beyond high school.  Our Wildcat Musicians have adopted the motto: “fun through achievement; pride through excellence.”

The various ensembles at MHS regularly perform for school and community events, private functions, parades, and festivals.  With the support of the Wildcat Booster Club, MHS music students also have the opportunity to participate in fundraising events throughout the year.
