The 2011-2012 marked the re-inaugural year for the Monrovia High School Chamber Strings, bringing orchestra back to the MHS campus for the first time for nearly 30 years. The Chamber Strings develop musicianship through performance on orchestra strings (violin, viola, cello, bass), mastering classical and modern works in the string orchestra canon. The MHS Chamber Strings are proud to have earned unanimous ratings of Excellent at their first performance at SCSBOA Festival.

The Monrovia Chamber strings are directed by Mr. Daniel J. Magallanes.
